The
Austrian host family is responsible for your health insurance.
Please ask the host family to arrange for your insurance before
you arrive - to ensure that your insurance is valid on time. If
you are travelling with an E111 form, this insurance is not necessary.
We
recommend that you visit your dentist and doctor before your departure
for a check-up, because certain medical treatments and examinations
are either covered only by a certain percentage or are not covered
by the au pair insurance at all.. You are entitled to take 1-2
weeks of paid vacation per year as an au pair.
Tip:
ask your credit card company for information concerning free travel
insurance.
